Meet Kingston!

Meet Kingston! This handsome boy is estimated at 10 years old from the local shelter, however we think he is a little younger than that. He s a Terrier/Shih Tuz mix and a super happy boy! This ball of fluff is looking for a special forever home! He’s not a regular “family dog” but has a lot of love to give for the right person/people. See, Kingston likes certain things HIS way and will reactive negatively if he doesn’t get his way (especially with new people). However, with our volunteer and the staff at Just Like Home Doggie Hotel and Grooming, this behavior has dissipated dramatically! He’s done great being picked up and brought to the play yard, where he’s done well with dogs as well! Keep in mind that this is the result of patience and allowing him to adjust to boarding - he will need an adjustment period in his new home as well. Additionally, when he’s in an environment he’s comfortable in, he’s highly friendly, playful and affectionate - he’s NOT a perma-grump! He just has his preferences. Kingston is going to need a “behavior dog” experienced owner with no kids to provide him the FOREVER he deserves!
