Meet Roxy the Pointer!

Roxy just turned 2 years old and is a very active German Short Hair Pointer who had a rough start at life but has improved so much since being with her foster mom. She knows her basic commands, such as sit, stay and shakes hands, but can still work on her manners such as jumping up on things and people when excited. It takes her a moment to warm up to new people, but once she does she will give you an actual hug and expect to be petted. She will follow you around and give cuddles and loves attention. She is okay with other dogs and has been living with other bigger dogs, as long as there is proper introductions, but for now as she is still learning to socialize we recommend her being the only dog and older children. She is kennel trained and does well left alone as well as long as she has some toys to entertain herself with. She would do great with someone who is active and knows the breed as she loves to be outdoors and go for a run. Due to her high energy and need to run, only houses with yards will be considered, no condos or apartments. She is a sweet and smart girl and would be a loyal companion!
