Meet Theresa!

Meet Theresa 💕 Theresa is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and the sweetest heart. She is incredibly loving and has absolutely no aggression, but she is very, very shy. Theresa gets along well with other dogs, but she isn’t interested in playing and becomes uncomfortable when dogs are too pushy or get in her space. She would do best in a calm, low-key household where any resident dogs are respectful and give her the space she needs to feel comfortable. This beautiful girl has never really had the chance to experience what it means to be part of a family. She doesn’t know the comfort of a cozy bed or the security of a loving home. She has spent much of her life feeling safest on rocks, dirt, or even a bathroom floor. In her foster home, she has started to come out of her shell, but she still only feels comfortable eating and drinking when no one is watching. Theresa is learning to trust, and every small step forward is a victory. What she needs most is someone willing to move at her pace, show her kindness, and help her discover that love is real. With time, patience, and understanding, Theresa will blossom into an incredibly loyal companion.
