Meet Joey!

Meet Joey! 🐾 Joey is a 9-year-old, 9-10 pound little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This adorable senior is the perfect little sidekick who loves being close to his person. He’ll happily listen while you tell him all about your day… and then might give you a hilarious eye roll just for fun! Joey enjoys walks, car rides, squeaky toys, and spending time with his favorite humans. He’s a smart, obedient boy who knows his basic manners and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He’s also a great little watchdog and will alert you if someone is near the house. Joey has lived with cats and has done well with proper introductions. He has not had much exposure to a variety of dogs, but he did meet the neighbor’s Husky. While he was a little unsure at first, he quickly settled in and did well, so we are hopeful he could successfully live with another calm, respectful dog with proper introductions. His previous caregiver could no longer keep him due to medical circumstances, and now he’s looking for a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years.
