Meet Princess the Shepherd!

Meet Princess! Approx 5 y/o German Shepherd! ‼️ What we know: Princess has been in boarding since July until circumstances finally led to her joining AH4S in early December. Due to owner request, she was kept separate from her siblings and other dogs in general, and has recently been getting socialized by boarding staff. She is doing very well, but can get a little over excited! We’re very confident she can be re-homed with another dog her size! Her siblings are: Champ and Lily the bonded pair, and Dasher the German shepherd. We are told Dasher and Princess had not lived together much/at all before coming into boarding, so they can be adopted separately! ‼️ Princess’ personality! Despite the name, this gal is low maintenance! She seems to enjoy being indoors more than outdoors - showing genuine excitement to return to her private suite/kennel in boarding. She’s a great listener! She is a smart girl and genuinely loves receiving/giving affection to staff. Princess still has her spurts of energy and playfulness, always followed by a nap! We believe she would do great with another adult-aged dog with a proper introduction. Princess is looking for a foster or forever home! Ideally a foster that can help her decompress from such a long time in boarding while hopefully continuing her socialization.
