My Story

  • About Me:Meet Conan! This handsome senior boy is 10 years old. Conan was rescued by us when he found himself at the local shelter with only hours left to live and numerous tumors all over his body. Unfortunately his previous family left him there and he needed extensive treatment and surgery to remove large masses that were all over his body. He received much needed medical care and his tumors were surgically removed successfully! He's still recovering from his tumor removal surgery, and yet- he's still the happiest guy, and it hasn't slowed him down. He is so spunky, playful, loves toys (caution needed with stuffed filled ones), full of life, grateful, loving, and ready for his next adventures to begin. He is extremely cuddly, affectionate, and loves to fill your face with kisses. He does seem to have a little separation anxiety, but as long as you're near or in the same room, he's more than comfortable. He loves his reassurance, but hasn't been insecure or shy. He's been left alone for up to 8-10 hrs with no accidents or destructive behaviors (in an XXL kennel, and with full access to his own room (babygate was put up in the doorway to avoid potential accidents with my Doberman); So far- he seems great with large/small dogs and has been completely unphased by others barking. He seems great with kids (aged 8-13); He loves his meal times and very motivated by treats. He does tend to beg in the kitchen when cooking, so might've been used to table scraps in the past.. He truly is one of the sweetest souls I've ever met and a total LOVEBUG!! Anyone would be so lucky to get all his love (and of course give all theirs to him). For additional info or to meet him, please text 702-239-7986.
