Meet Toby!

Hi, my name is Toby. I came back to A Home 4 Spot to find a very special human best friend who will stick with me forever. I think I'm about 4 years old, weigh 20lbs, and a poodle mix. I have some scars on my body that tell a story about my past, but I don't like to dwell on that. I'm just so happy to be safe and loved now. But sometimes when people touch me, I don't feel like myself and I start to bite. I don't mean to hurt anyone but I can't help this reaction. I would really like my human to not put their hands on me. I don't want to be petted like other dogs. I prefer to rub up against your legs or hands like a cat, and I like to give fist bumps. If you don't try to touch me too much I will always be happy to sit on your lap and give you lots of kisses. I would really love to have a dog brother or sister to play with me and help me learn the house rules. I'm a fast learner and I'm eager to please. I'm housebroken, but I hate to be a bother so I might not always let you know when I need to go outside. I'm a little nervous in the car but I like to go to the park and I love everyone I meet.
