Meet Hunter!

Meet Hunter! This adorable Tripod boy is about 1 year old and weighs about 45 lbs. He is some sort of Shepherd mix (Carolina Dog / North American Dingo). Hunter was rescued from Mexico and had his left leg amputated shortly after. Despite only having three legs, he enjoys being part of the pack and would do best with another confidant, social, playful dog in the home. Hunter is a sweet and loving boy! He loves his people and is eager to please. He is doggy door and crate trained. He's a very smart boy! Hunter has recently completed reactivity training consisting of fear rehabilitation and lots of socialization with our friends at Leader of the Pack K9 Training. He did amazing! He will continue to need rules, boundaries, and communication so a free 90-minute session is included to those who adopt Hunter to ensure continued success. Hunter would thrive in a home with kids age 11 or older and with NO CATS. Hunter is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
