Meet Boki!

Meet Boki! Boki is a young, playful dog. He weighs around 20lbs and is around 3.5 years old. He is shy at first but once he warms up to you, he is very sweet and will sit on your lap to be pet. He gets along great with other dogs. We think he had a rocky start to life, and was probably kept outdoors and not socialized with people. But he is learning to love and wants to be loved so bad. He is working on overcoming his fears. Sudden movements scare him and he doesn’t like to be manhandled, and he might nip or growl at you if you move too fast or try to grab him. Boki needs a patient but firm owner who will respect his space until he trusts you. After he warms up to you, he is very sweet and will sit on your lap to be pet. Boki will need a home with another playful dog who can continue to teach him how to be a great dog. He does well on a leash and loves to go for walks. He does good on car rides too. He is potty trained and understands he is supposed to go outside. Boki can sleep alone in a crate or downstairs/separate room. No small children. Interested in fostering or adopting?
