Meet Isabel!

Meet Isabel! 3 yrs old and under 10lb, Isabel has been nothing but pure joy to foster. She is a very easy, friendly, sweet girl who got adjusted to our home quickly and has been getting along with our dogs from day 1. She is not a picky eater and gladly takes treats, but never begs. Isabel is a go-with-the-flow kind of pup. I've spent days with her where she was more than happy to be my couch-potato buddy, and also have successfully taken her on lengthy walks. She loves her naps, but is also excited about going on adventures - her favorite thing in the world is just to be with you. Isabel does really well in the car, is crate-trained and potty-trained - we haven't had a single accident! She does display a little bit of separation anxiety, but I am confident that this is something that will go away on its own when she finds herself in a calm, secure home. Every day we've had her, we've seen a dramatic difference - she's been relaxing more and more. All she needs is a place to chill and people to love (oh and doggie playmates would be a plus, but not a necessity!). Isabel is a smart girl: she picked up our house rules quickly, knows how to sit, and understands the word "No". The only challenge we've had is with our cats - she growls and barks at them. I am sure this is something that can be worked on, but it would be an easier transition if she ended up with a family that was cat-free.
