Meet Glory!

Glory is a 10 year old female Boxer / Bully mix. This poor girl was being surrendered to our shelter, which is in crisis for overpopulation. Unfortunately, because of her age and being overweight, we knew she didn’t stand a chance of making it out alive. We were able to connect with the owners at the shelter right before their appointment time to surrender her and they handed her over to us. Glory has quite the personality and knows commands such as sit, lay down, and go for walk. At her most recent vet visit she weighed in at 105 pounds. Her first goal weight is to get down to 90 pounds so she can have a healthy longer life. She really enjoys the company of smaller dogs and has reportedly even lived with a cat, but we have not tested that. She is a little picky about larger dogs and gets a little fussy about hyper dogs being in her face, but at her age who wouldn’t. Her foster has big and small dogs and they coexisted together with no issue. Glory is potty trained, and walks well on a leash. She really enjoys her daily walks to help her lose some of the weight and her ideal family will continue to support her on her journey. She will need to be on a modified diet for some allergies and to support her weight loss goals. Whether you need a walking buddy or a couch buddy, Glory is your girl.
