Meet Lola!

Meet Lola! This cutie has the face of a Maltese on the body of a dachshund and she is the cutest thing ever! Lola‘s owner went into long-term care and had nowhere to go when a friend reached out to see if we could possibly take her in and course we said yes! At 10 years old, she still has so much love to give and is in great health, and weighs between 15-20 lbs. She just learned the doggie door and it’s starting to go outside on her own to go potty, but she has had a few accidents at her foster mom’s home. She loves to sit on the couch next to you or on your lap while watching TV or taking a nap. Lola is not a fan of the car and gets very anxious, panting and shaking. At time she seems like she’s looking for her mama, but that is to be expected after a lifetime with one owner. Lola gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, cats and children. She enjoys daily walks, but doesn’t need a ton of exercise. She is the perfect companion for somebody that wants a best friend that is low maintenance.
