We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to our Friends at Maddie’s Pet Project in Nevada and The Dave and Cheryl Duffield Foundation for gifting us a Grant to help save large breed dogs from euthanasia here in Las Vegas. To date their program has saved a total of 52 dogs that were pulled from Animal Foundation who were otherwise going to be euthanized due to behavior problems. Of those 52 dogs, 48 have completed the program and have found new homes. These dogs will also get follow up training if needed. The 4 remaining dogs are still going through the program and hope to find their second chance soon.
This Grant not only allowed us to save these dogs but also give them the necessary behavior training/socialization skills, medical treatments, and forever families they desperately needed and deserved. These dogs would not have had a chance at forever without Maddie’s! Thanks to Maddie’s, dogs like Brody, Summer, and Knight are now living in the forever homes and getting the love they only dreamed of. None of this would have been possible without the generous grant from The Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation, Maddie’s Fund, and The Humane Network.
