Meet Elsa!

Elsa is a stunning 4 month old girl with a gentle soul who has already been through more than most. We don’t know exactly what she experienced before coming to us, but it left her frightened and unsure of people. When she arrived, she was severely underweight and had a deep gash on her face. While her siblings quickly began to open up, Elsa has taken a bit more time. But Elsa wants to trust. You can see it in her eyes—she’s looking for someone patient, kind, and understanding to show her that people can be safe and loving. With time, patience, and encouragement, her sweet and silly personality begins to shine through. Elsa truly thrives in the company of other dogs, especially confident, social ones who can help her continue to build trust and learn the ropes. She’s still working on her potty training and may have occasional accidents, but she’s making progress every day. Elsa is a 14 week old Shepherd mix who will be a large dog when fully grown. Due to her breed and size—a home with a secure yard and at least one other social dog will be required. Elsa is ready to bloom in a home that offers the love and stability she’s never known.
