Meet Samson!

Sampson is the definition of a Velcro dog with a heart full of love and just a touch of separation anxiety. He adores his people and wants nothing more than to be close to them—always. He might duck behind you if a spider appears, but once he feels safe, he’ll stick to you like a brand-new strip of Velcro and become your most loyal companion. Sampson is wonderfully polite with other dogs—no reactivity on walks and no issues when boarded—but in his ideal world, you are his person, and he’d prefer not to share center stage. Think of him as the Velcro that mysteriously attaches itself to your dress at the end of the day and refuses to come off. He can be a little shy at first and may make new humans earn his trust, but once you’re in, you’re all in. This is the kind of dog who gets adorably close—nose near your eyeball—just to check your breath before your hot date. He takes his job very seriously. Sampson does have a medical condition that occasionally leaves behind a few “golden sprinkles,” but this is easily managed with a belly band. Please don’t let that stop you from giving him your heart (and a dozen squeaky toys he’ll happily go full murder-bunny on). He’s absolutely worth it.
