Meet Nora!

Meet Nora! 🩷 Born on Easter Sunday, Nora is a beautiful Plott Hound mix looking for her forever family! Her mama, Holly, is a purebred Plott Hound, but we aren’t sure who dad was. Mom weighs about 45 pounds, and we expect Nora to be a medium-to-large-sized dog when fully grown. Nora is already doggie-door trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. She is still working on her potty training but is doing fantastic for her age and has quickly learned how to use the doggie door. This social butterfly has been raised with kids, cats, and dogs and loves everyone she meets. She adores toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and would love a home with a canine companion to help burn off her puppy energy. Nora is an active puppy, and because she is likely mixed with a working breed, she would thrive with an active, outdoorsy family committed to providing plenty of exercise, enrichment, and training. She is smart, eager to learn, and has all the makings of an amazing family dog. Nora requires a home with a yard and is not available to apartment or condo living. Due to her age, Nora will go home as a Foster-to-Adopt. Her adoptive family must be willing to bring her back to our veterinarian for her remaining puppy vaccines, microchip, and spay surgery when age-appropriate. These appointments are included and scheduled through the rescue. All resident dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines with no exceptions.
