Meet Nelly!

Meet Nelly! 🐾 Nelly was born on Easter Sunday and is as sweet as she is adorable! Her mama is a Plott Hound, and while dad is unknown, we do know this little girl is going to make a wonderful companion. We expect Nelly to be medium to large when fully grown and, as a working-breed mix, she will do best with an active family committed to providing plenty of exercise, training, and enrichment. Nelly is incredibly smart and already uses the doggie door like a pro. She sleeps through the night and is making great progress with her puppy manners. She loves playing with other dogs, gets along well with cats, and would thrive in a home with another playful canine companion. Because of her breed mix and energy level, Nelly is looking for a home with a secure yard where she can run and play. If there are children in the home, they should be over the age of 8, as Nelly is still teething and in her playful puppy stage. Nelly will go home as a Foster-to-Adopt and will need to return for her remaining vaccines and spay surgery when age-appropriate.
