Meet Doris Day! 🐾
Doris Day is a 2–3-year-old fluffy French Bulldog who is absolutely adorable, full of personality, and very much a Frenchie who knows what she wants. 😂 She loves belly rubs, cozy naps, toys, zoomies, and hanging out with her people. She can be incredibly sweet and cuddly, but we’ve also gotten to know her a LOT better over the last month, and we want to make sure we find her a home that truly understands her.
Doris is sassy, stubborn and strong-willed. If she doesn’t want to do something, she may argue her case with a little nip or try to intimidate you into changing your mind. She’s also been known to pull blankets and pillows off the couch when the mood strikes. Basically, Doris has opinions. Lots of them. 😂 She needs an experienced, confident owner who can give her structure, boundaries and consistency without letting this little fluffy dictator run the household.
Because of her nipping behavior, Doris absolutely cannot be placed in a home with children. We are looking for an adult-only home where her quirks are understood and managed appropriately.
She does well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with. She has a silly, playful side and plenty of that irresistible Frenchie charm once she’s comfortable.
Doris is not a “perfect little Frenchie,” and that’s okay. She’s funny, affectionate, mischievous, stubborn and occasionally a complete brat. 😂 In the right adult home with an experienced owner, we think this little girl has so much potential to thrive.
