Meet Koda!

Meet Koda 🤎 Koda is a 1 year, 7 month old chocolate Lab/Great Dane mix weighing about 95 lbs. He’s a big, goofy lovebug with a playful spirit and an even bigger heart. Koda loves meeting new people and dogs, exploring the outdoors, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He would thrive in an active home with a yard, and would especially love a family with kids and another playful dog to keep him company. Koda is neutered, fully potty trained, and has completed two training programs through PetSmart. He’s social, affectionate, and truly just wants to be part of the family. After relocating to Washington, Koda began experiencing severe allergy flare-ups that have not improved despite treatment. He is currently chewing himself raw and is extremely uncomfortable. His family is absolutely heartbroken and, after exhausting all options, made the difficult decision to return him to the rescue in hopes he can thrive again in the Las Vegas desert climate where he previously did much better. Once we have a committed foster or foster-to-adopt in place, his family is willing to drive him down from Washington. Time is truly of the essence—Koda is miserable, even with ongoing treatment, and we want to get him comfortable as soon as possible. Koda deserves to feel good again and get back to being the happy, playful boy he is.
