Meet Chip Jr., a male Cattle Dog mix! We aren’t completely sure who dad is, but based on The fact that a male German Shepherd was found with mama roaming in the desert, we believe he may be the dad.
Born on March 23, Chip Jr. is getting close to being ready for his Foster-to-Adopt home! He is expected to be a high-energy, intelligent puppy who will thrive with an active family committed to training, structure, and continued socialization. Interested families must be able to take them to and from upcoming vet visits
We are especially hoping to find homes with herding breed or working dog experience, as puppies like Chip Jr. need both physical exercise and mental stimulation to succeed. He would also love a home with another friendly, playful dog to help keep him active and social.
A home with a secure yard is required. Any resident dogs must be fixed and current on vaccines — no exceptions. If there are children in the home, they should be over the age of 8.
Chip Jr. is looking for a family that understands the needs of smart working breed dogs and is ready to put in the time and consistency puppies require. In return, he’s sure to become a loyal and loving companion.
If you’re interested in meeting Chip Jr., please fill out an application on our website. Home check and adoption fee apply.
