Meet Bluey!

Meet Bluey! 💙 Now that all seven of my beautiful puppies have found homes (or are settling into foster care), it’s finally my turn to find a family of my own! I’m Bluey, a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) weighing about 35 pounds. As you can probably tell from my stunning good looks, I’m 100% cattle dog—and I act like it too! Because of that, I’m looking for a home with previous cattle dog or herding breed experience. I’m not suited for apartment living and will thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, structure, and mental enrichment. I’m a smart, energetic girl who loves having a job to do. I can also be quite vocal, especially when I’m excited, so be prepared for some enthusiastic conversations! I’m also a talented escape artist and can easily clear a 40-inch fence, so a secure yard is an absolute must. When meeting new people, I’ll happily roll over for belly rubs, but don’t let that fool you—I’m always paying attention to everything around me! It takes me a little time to fully settle in and feel comfortable with new people and dogs, but with patience and proper introductions, I do well. I tend to prefer calmer dogs that are my size or larger. I’m recently spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccinations, so I’m ready to start my next chapter.
