Meet Buster!

Meet Buster Cornelius! Yes, he has a very strong name, but that is because HE is a very strong boy. Buster is 7 years old, born in June of 2019 and still as spirited as ever. He is a 55 pound brindle and white English bullhog with plenty of personality to match his glorious name. Buster was born with nerve damage to his neither regions, leaving him in diapers permanently. With such special needs, he’s restricted to a strict diet and consistent potty schedule. He’s very food motivated! He loves Three Dog Bakery cookies and frozen mango or pumpkin. The only food he eats is Purina pro plan sensitive skin with salmon and rice, rice or boiled chicken. He must maintain this strict diet to avoid accidents as he cannot feel his BM’s most of the time. Buster was with his original family until right before his 3rd birthday when he was surrendered. After a short term with a foster he was adopted where he thrived for 4 years. Unfortunately due to some private circumstances, that family is unable to care for him any longer. Buster would thrive in a household where he is the king of the belly rubs. He is a bulldog, so he can be stubborn and bulldoze when excited. He loves to sunbathe and jumps like a kangaroo for bubbles. He’s fun, energetic and loving. He’s previously done well with other dogs and small children. But considering his limitations, being a solo pup would do him well. His favorite toys are from BullyMake, Kong or Nylabones. He loves to chew on them when he’s not rolling around like a rotisserie chicken, begging anyone around him for a good ol’ belly wub! This good boy needs a family with patience and compassion. He was very well loved and needs an outlet to continue his senior years gloriously. As lovely as he may be, he still needs a firm Momma or Poppa to keep him in line, making him a pup at heart.
