Meet Samantha! 🐾
Samantha is an adorable Chihuahua/Pug mix (also known as a Chug), estimated to be 2–3 years old and about 10 pounds. She has already had at least one litter of puppies before coming to us. We don’t know what her life looked like before rescue, but it’s clear she hasn’t always had a reason to feel safe.
Samantha is very timid and shy when she first enters a new environment. She does not display any fear aggression—her response when she’s scared is simply to avoid interaction or cower. After a few days of realizing she’s safe, she slowly begins to come out of her shell. She’s starting to seek out attention and clearly wants affection; she’s just still learning that people can be trusted. ❤️

🏡 A very secure yard is required — no apartments
🦮 She is not currently leash trained.
🚪 She will go outside to potty when someone goes outside with her.
Samantha needs a patient, understanding home that will give her time to decompress and build confidence at her own pace. She may not run into your arms on day one, but underneath all that fear is a sweet little girl who is slowly learning what it means to feel safe and loved. 🩷
