Simon is a 4-month-old Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and so much love waiting to shine through. ❤️
Simon may be shy at first, but once he feels safe and secure, his sweet personality starts to blossom. This special boy had a rough start in life, and he’s still discovering what it means to be a puppy. Toys, different floor surfaces, and all the little things we take for granted are brand-new experiences for him. 🥹
With patience, love, and a little encouragement, Simon is learning more every day. He’s a smart boy who is doing great with potty training, has mastered using the dog door, and sleeps through the night in his kennel! He loves people and other dogs, and having a friendly doggy companion in his forever home would be a BIG plus to help him build confidence. 🐶💕
Simon deserves a family who will give him the time he needs to feel safe, discover the world, and finally just be a happy puppy.
Simon will be placed through our Foster With Intent to Adopt program because he is not yet neutered or fully vaccinated. His foster-to-adopt family must be able to transport him to and from all upcoming vaccine and neuter appointments with our rescue veterinarian. Once he is fully vetted and microchipped, his adoption can be finalized.
Requirements:
🐾 Current dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated
🐾 Secure backyard required
🐾 Must be able to attend all required veterinary appointments through our rescue
🐾 A friendly doggy companion would be a BIG plus!
