Meet Sydney 💜
She's 9 pounds of Bulldog/Chihuahua mix with approximately 900 pounds of personality and energy! She is getting over some skin issues, but once her shiny, black coat fills in, she’ll be an absolute beauty. Sydney is independent, spunky, and pretty convinced that life is one giant playground. This girl LOVES to run, chase, play, and then run some more. If you've got a dog who needs a best friend to burn off some energy, Sydney would happily volunteer. Playing “tag” is her favorite activity of all time. She's also HIGHLY food motivated. Don't think you can sneak a snack without her knowing. That bag of snacks you just opened? She heard it from three rooms away.
Sydney has great recall and is making fantastic progress with potty training, even getting close to going on command! She's also currently auditioning for Shark Week with her puppy teething. Her future humans need to understand that mouthing and biting aren't the same thing, and be prepared to help her navigate this stage with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. She hasn't been crate trained but does well in a pen, and despite her endless daytime energy, she sleeps soundly through the night.
Her perfect home? An active family with a backyard (a MUST for this energetic little firecracker!) and ideally a playful four-legged sibling or two who can keep up with her endless games of chase. Any children in the home must be older, respectful, and understand how to appropriately interact with dogs. Sydney might be tiny, but she's no couch potato!
